Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions apply to all website design services provided by Structiv, operated by William MacDonald, based in Austria.

By engaging Structiv for services, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.


1. About Structiv

Structiv provides website design and build services, primarily for engineering companies, using the Framer platform.

2. Services

Structiv provides the following services:

  • Website design and build using Framer

  • Redesign of existing websites using client-provided content

  • Basic on-page SEO setup (such as page titles, meta descriptions, and semantic structure)

Unless explicitly agreed in writing, the following are not included:

  • Copywriting or content creation

  • Advanced SEO, analytics, or marketing services

  • Ongoing maintenance or support after project completion

Any additional services must be agreed separately in writing.


3. Project Packages

Structiv typically offers fixed-price packages, such as:

  • A one-page website

  • A multi-page website (typically 3–5 pages)

The exact scope of each project will be agreed before work begins.


4. Client Responsibilities

The client agrees to:

  • Provide all required content (text, images, logos, branding)

  • Ensure all provided content is accurate, lawful, and owned or licensed by the client

  • Provide timely feedback and approvals to keep the project moving

Structiv is not responsible for issues caused by inaccurate, incomplete, or delayed client content.


5. Payments

  • A 50% deposit is required before work begins

  • The remaining 50% is due on project completion and before final handover

  • All prices are agreed in advance and are fixed unless the project scope changes

The initial deposit is non-refundable once work has started.


6. Late or Non-Payment

If payment is not made when due:

  • Work may be paused

  • The website will not be handed over or published

  • Ownership of the work remains with Structiv until full payment is received


7. Revisions

  • Up to two rounds of reasonable revisions are included

  • Additional revisions may be charged at an agreed rate

Requests that fall outside the agreed project scope may be treated as additional work.


8. Project Timelines & Delays

Project timelines depend on timely feedback and content from the client.

If the client delays feedback or content:

  • Project timelines are paused

  • Extended inactivity (e.g. 30 days) may result in the project being closed


9. Framer, Hosting & Access

Websites are built using Framer.

  • Clients are responsible for creating and owning their Framer account

  • Structiv may be invited as a collaborator or editor

  • Clients should not share passwords

  • Structiv does not manage login credentials or long-term hosting

On completion and full payment, the website and access are handed over fully to the client.


10. Ownership & Portfolio Use

  • Ownership of the website transfers to the client only after full payment

  • Until then, all work remains the property of Structiv

  • Structiv may display completed work in its portfolio unless the client requests otherwise in writing


11. Third-Party Tools

Websites may use third-party tools, platforms, fonts, or frameworks (including Framer).

Clients are responsible for complying with any third-party terms and licences.


12. Cancellations & Termination

  • The client may cancel the project at any time

  • The initial deposit is non-refundable

  • Payment may be required for work completed up to the cancellation date

Structiv reserves the right to terminate a project if:

  • Payments are not made

  • Communication breaks down for an extended period

  • Abusive or inappropriate behaviour occurs


13. No Guarantees

Structiv does not guarantee:

  • Business results

  • Increased traffic, leads, or sales

  • Search engine rankings or performance

The website is provided “as is” based on best practices and agreed scope.


14. Limitation of Liability

Structiv’s liability is limited to the total amount paid by the client for the project.

Structiv is not liable for:

  • Loss of profits or business

  • Issues caused by third-party services

  • Changes made by the client after handover


15. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Austria.
